Refund Policy

Return & Exchange Policy for Broken Pistons

Effective Date: March 8, 2026

At Broken Pistons, we stand behind the quality of our gear. If you’re not 100% satisfied with your purchase, we’re here to help you get it sorted.

1. Return & Exchange Window

  • Items must be returned or exchanged within 30 days of the delivery date.

  • Returns requested after this 30-day window will not be accepted.

2. Condition of Items

To be eligible for a return or exchange, your item must meet the following criteria:

  • Unworn & Unwashed: Items must be in their original condition.

  • Original Packaging: Items should be returned in their original packaging with all tags attached.

  • No Damage: Items with smoke smells, pet hair, makeup stains, or signs of wear will not be accepted.

3. Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned or exchanged:

  • Final Sale Items: Any items marked "Final Sale" at the time of purchase.

  • Limited Drops: Certain limited-edition releases may be exchange-only due to stock availability.

  • Gift Cards: All digital gift card sales are final.

4. How to Start a Return or Exchange

To begin the process, please email us at [Your Brand Email Address] or DM us at @BrokenPistons.co with:

  1. Your Order Number.

  2. The item(s) you wish to return or exchange.

  3. The reason for the return (or the new size requested).

5. Shipping Costs

  • Defective Items: If you received a damaged or incorrect item, we will cover all shipping costs to get you a replacement.

  • Standard Returns: For all other returns (change of mind, fit issues), the customer is responsible for return shipping costs.

  • Exchanges: We offer one free exchange per order; we will cover the shipping cost of the new item sent back to you.

6. Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

  • If approved, your refund will be processed to your original method of payment.

  • Please allow 5–10 business days for the credit to appear on your bank statement.

7. Damaged or Defective Gear

If your gear arrives damaged, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the defect. We will prioritize a replacement or full refund for you immediately.
